ABOUT

Founding member of Label Artikal Music and backing band Artikal Band,
He composes and back many musical projects for different labels and artists,

at national and international level since 1995.
Asha D is Producer and director of Label Artikal Music,
In 2019 he created a website www.riddiminstrumental.com, specially designed for the sale of Reggae, Dancehall and Beatmaking instrumentals on which he posts a new instrumental every Tuesday.

In 2021, he produced and directed 2 Ep, one with Mark Cupidore from Trinidad and one with Bobby Hustle from California, to note the Single “There is a Party” with the great U Brown and Rod Taylor from Jamaica, to quote his last collaborations. 

As a singer, he tackles all themes but remains mainly a "CONSCIOUS" artist
It is as a singer, producer and musician that he presents his first 2 Ep:
“The Pressure” released in June 2022, followed by “The Pressure - album Dub Showcase” 12 tracks, featuring Queen Omega and Tairo.

Then recently released, in February 2023, the EP “Roots Meditation”, Asha D solidifies his position behind the drums and the microphone including two titles in collaboration with artists Yaniss Odua and Maylan Manaza,
and guests; Dean Frazer, Jamaican saxophonist, Harold Wolters, harmonicist.

This EP is made with the musicians of the Artikal Band and is defended on stage in the Live Opening Part of Yaniss Odua.
After several Singles released in 2023 (one per month),
Asha D’s next project is scheduled for early 2024!
